COVID-19 has been taking its toll on us for several months now and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Hospitals are at capacity with patients, with the number of people admitted at an all-time high in the state of Illinois, and I'm sure in other states as well.
Gov. Pritzker says that healthcare workers are overwhelmed and he is encouraging people to wear a mask, get vaccinated or boosted and get tested if you experience any symptoms. About 63-hundred people are in hospitals with the virus statewide. Until we all work together and do what we have to do, this is going to be the way we live for a very long time.
