We all deal with stress differently. But stress can cause you real damage if you are not able to manage it properly.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended a list of healthy ways to cope with stress.
- Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including those on social media
- Take care of yourself
- Take care of your body
- Make time to unwind
- Talk to others
- Connect with your community- or faith-based organizations
- Avoid drugs and alcohol
