Chicago Jazz Legend Richard "Muhal" Abrams Dies

I grew up on Chicago's southeast side - and around the corner on 9100 block of Paxton lived a jazz great - his name was Richard "Muhal" Abrams.  He was the uncle of my childhood friend Corey Abrams which meant that I had an opportunity to know this man up close - and Mr. Abrams was an unsung hero in the world of jazz.
