Chicago's March Madness Rolls On!

posted by Jeanne Sparrow -

The day is finally here... bracket-busting Loyola Chicago is just hours away from playing their Final Four game! They face off against Michigan this evening at 5:09pm (the game airs on TBS).

The team’s chaplain and the superstar of this years March Madness, 98-year old Sister Jean, held a press conference yesterday that was full of great quotes, including this one: “We have a little slogan we say, ‘Worship, work and win.’ We need to do all of those things. God always hears, but maybe he thinks it is better for us to do the L instead of the W.”  If that’s not a metaphor for life, I don’t know what is.  She also said that this is the most fun she's had in her life, which are also words to live by. Sports Illustrated complied a few of the clips here if you missed them

And Notre Dame’s women’s team heads to their championship game, facing Mississippi State at 5pm tomorrow on ESPN... after besting undefeated women’s basketball powerhouse UConn last night in a nail-biting overtime that came down to the very last second.

Congrats to our area teams for making it to the big dance… we’re so proud of you and we’re cheering you on!

Looked good in February but would look great in March Next stop, San Antonio #OnwardLU #MVCHoops #FinalFour #MarchMadness
