What's Happening This Weekend (10/13/18)

posted by Jeanne Sparrow -

New Orleans native and R&B crooner Aaron Neville is performing at Governors State University's Center for the Performing Arts tonight at 8pm in an intimate show, featuring him and his keyboard player.

The Chicago International Film Festival opened this week… it runs through next Sunday, October 21st. In addition to all the great films from around the world and right here in Chicago, one big highlight is next Saturday night’s tribute to Oscar-nominated costume designer Ruth Carter, whose work you’ve seen in Black Panther, Amistad and several Spike Lee joints.

& For the kids, Sesame Street Live is at Rosemont Theatre through tomorrow, with one more show tonight at 6 and 3 tomorrow.

Whatever you decide, have fun and don’t let me EVER hear you say you don’t have anything to do!
