It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas! Yesterday, the city lit the big tree in Millennium Park and Christkindlmarket opened at Daley Plaza.
Today, the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival continues with free concerts and festivities all along Michigan Avenue. Mickey and Minnie Mouse are the stars of the parade when it steps off at 5:30pm onto Michigan Avenue from Oak Street, lighting up the avenue all the way down to the Chicago River. You can also watch the parade live on ABC7 at 6pm.
Preview the biggest toys of the season at the Chicago Toy & Game Fair… it runs today and tomorrow at Navy Pier.
It’s also a big at-home weekend for Chicago’s teams… It’s Bulls vs. Raptors at the United Center tonight at 7pm, the Blackhawks hit the ice against the Minnesota Wild at 5pm also at the United Center and the Bears face the Minnesota Vikings at 7pm at Soldier Field.
Whatever you decide, have a great time... and don’t let me ever hear you say you don’t have anything to do!
