What's Happening in Chicago: Labor Day Edition -- Common, Jazz Fest & more!

It’s Common’s big new music release weekend in Chicago and he’s everywhere! You can catch him in person talking about “Let Love” at the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue at 1pm today… stop by his pop up shop this weekend at 1714 N Damen, where you can catch him tomorrow at noon for an album signing. & Tonight, see his show live with Queen Latifah at Ravinia tonight… showtime at 6pm!

It’s the city’s final big music festival of the summer… Jazz Fest takes over Millennium Park through tomorrow night. And it’s all FREE!

African Festival of the Arts celebrates its 30thanniversary this year… catch the festival through Monday in Washington Park with Donnie McClurkin, Kinsmen, Terisa Griffin, Ohio Players and more!

And the Southeast Side Labor Day Parade steps off at 112th& Ewing today at noon, followed by Eddie Fest in Calumet Park until 10pm, starring Crucial Conflict and more!

& Steely Dan will be at Ravinia tomorrow night!
