As we approach the end of this decade, best of lists get a little more crucial... and the AP's Album of the Decade list is no exception.
Beyonce's 2016 opus, Lemonade got the top nod and she made the list again for her self-titled album... and there are few that would disagree with that choice.
Here's the whole list... and let the controversy over the choices and ranking begin:
- Beyonce, "Lemonade"
- Rihanna, "Anti"
- Beyonce, "Beyonce"
- Adele, "21"
- Kendrick Lamar, "good kid, m.A.A.d. city"
- Haim, "Days Are Gone"
- SZA, "Ctrl"
- Janelle Monae, "The ArchAndroid"
- Katy Perry, "Teenage Dream"
- Bruno Mars, "24K Magic"
- Solange, "A Seat at the Table"
- Sam Smith, "In the Lonely Hour"
- Nas, "Life Is Good"
- Taylor Swift, "1989"
- Kacey Musgraves, "Golden Hour"
Who did they leave off? Who's ranked too low? Too high?
Some of this is a popularity contest, but we had some pretty quality music to bless our ears over the past 10 years that we'll be listening to for many years to come!
