The coming days and weeks could mean good news for the next phase of reopening in Illinois IF we continue to stay at home and keep the infection numbers trending down.
Governor Pritzker said that Phase 3 could go into effect at the end of this month, meaning offices, salons, barbershops and retail stores could reopen on a limited basis, as long as they were in line with gatherings of less than 10 people.
And Mayor Lightfoot hinted yesterday that she is considering creative ways to reopen restaurants sooner by using sidewalks and perhaps closing streets to make more room for customers to distance safely while dining out.
Time will tell, but until we know for sure... let's focus on the positive and stay home to save lives!
