Common and Oprah celebrate Chicago’s graduates on Monday at 1pm with a star studded virtual commencement event on ABC7. Add that viewing party with a parade through your favorite grad’s neighborhood like I’ve been seeing all week, and you’ve got a party!
The Chicago Children’s Choir celebrates Juneteenth next Friday with their notable black alumni leading a performance of music and spoken word. It will livestream at 6pm on their Facebook and YouTube channels.
