We’re down to the last couple of weekends of summer! School’s back in for everybody at home or in person (depending on where you are) on Tuesday, September 8th so it’s really time to get it IN… whether you stay home or venture out.
Navy Pier will close for the fall and winter beginning September 8th… until then, you can ride the ferris wheel, catch live music and take part in other socially distanced fun.
The Promontory in Hyde Park is featuring limited capacity live music and performances on their newly opened upper patio deck… they’re hosting a crawfish boil today and a paint and sip tomorrow.
Catch free shows on the patio at Fitzgerald’s in Berwyn… they’ve got blues tonight and jazz tomorrow night.
And Monday, relive the 90s with a throwback Verzuz battle… Brandy vs. Monica! They’re matching hit for hit live on Instagram at 7pm Chicago time.
If you’re headed out to eat, we've got a few new rules to follow... you now have to wear a mask when talking to your servers at restaurants and bars all over the state and in Will & Kankakee counties, you can only dine or drink outdoors at restaurants and bars as inside service has been suspended.
Whatever you choose, have fun and don’t let me EVER hear you say you don’t have anything to do!
