It’s a baby bag, and it’s not perfect, but it has been secured… the president finally, at the 11th hour, signed the coronavirus relief and government funding bill yesterday.
Here’s the good news… the government now has money to keep running and it won’t shut down tomorrow, as was feared if the bill hadn’t been signed.
You’ll probably get your stimulus check, but it may not the $2000 that Trump had been pushing for, because it looks like Republicans in the Senate will block that amount and keep it at the $600 that was earlier agreed to.
And if you haven’t been able to find a job, your unemployment benefits that were scheduled to run out this week have been extended for another 11 weeks… with a $300 bonus every week. It may not kick in until the first week of the year because the bill wasn’t signed by Saturday to start that processing.
Life isn’t perfect, but we can find blessings and hope every single day.
