If you’re looking for something to keep the kids busy… the Chicago History Museum has free online activities until 2pm today all about one of the men we celebrate today, the nation’s 16th president, Abraham Lincoln. Kids will learn about his life in Illinois and connections to Chicago with interactive tours, virtual exhibits and a hands-on arts workshop you can do at home.
And make it an at-home party and start celebrating Mardi Gras today – in South Lousiana, it’s a whole season, so don’t feel like you’re being extra! New Orleans native and celebrated Chef Brian Jupiter is keeping the party going at Ina Mae’s Tavern in Bucktown with at-home party packs and specials for the season. You’re also supporting another black-owned business.
Happy Monday!
