Mary Jackson, the first black woman engineer at NASA, was officially honored in a big way at the end of Black History Month by the agency. The NASA headquarters in Washington, D.C. has been named in her honor.
We got to see Mary’s greatness in Janelle Monae’s portrayal of her amazing work with all the other “Hidden Figures” whose work made space flight possible.
Let's say her name proudly as much as we can to inspire the next generation of black women scientists, engineers and leaders!
