Black Girl Magic makes history during March Madness… for the first time ever, two black women coaches simultaneously led their teams to the NCAA Women’s Final Four.
Dawn Staley, coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks and Adia Barnes of the Arizona Wildcats made history last night as their teams faced their opponents, Stanford and UConn. The two coaches are also the first former WNBA players to lead their teams to the Final Four as head coaches.
Now, we get to watch Adia Barnes and her Wildcats face off against Stanford after their exciting upset over UConn in the championship game tomorrow at 5pm on ESPN.
Remember to always celebrate your magic! xo
