The very first pair of Air Jordans is available for sale… you can own a piece of sports and sneaker history for about $250,000!
According to TMZ, the red, white and black sample sneakers that were made for Michael Jordan in 1985 before they went to production have gone to auction. The owner got them when he said he was a fan of His Airness during a meeting with a sports agent.
The classic sneaks are signed by Michael Jordan and have been authenticated by the codes in the shoe… and because they’re two different sizes. I never knew this, but Jordan wore a 13 on his left foot and a 13.5 on his right.
The starting bid was at $95,000 and bidding is open until Wednesday, when the superstar shoes are expected to sell for a quarter million dollars or more!
