If that wasn't reason enough to get vaccinated to prevent the spread of the highly contagious variant, studies are out now saying that the virus can also cause erectile dysfunction and male infertility. That was one of the erroneous reports coming out earlier about the vaccines, but researchers say that the opposite is true.
In a study at the University of Miami on men who had COVID-19, researchers found that the virus continued to live in the testicles and penile tissue of men 6-9 months after having the disease. The presence of the virus led to severe erectile dysfunction and very low sperm counts, which could affect their ability to have children long into the future.
Sooooooo, if you were hesitating about the vaccine, you might want to reconsider... this risk sounds like a game-changer of a different sort. I mean, God forbid one pandemic causes an epidemic of another kind!
