Hospitalizations are slowing down but COVID infections are still on the rise here… and with that, comes more precautionary measures. The United Center has announced that you will need either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to attend Bulls and Blackhawks home games.
The city’s top doc says that’s because more people need to get their shots to keep us safe from all the variants… Dr. Fauci said that so far, we’re safe from the latest Mu variant which has surfaced in 39 other countries.
In an effort to encourage more vaccinations, the Chicago Department of Health is offering $100 gift cards to anyone getting their shots beginning today.
And in more hopeful news, Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr. and Mrs. Jacqueline Jackson are recovering well… reports say Mrs. Jackson is back home now and Rev is recuperating with physical therapy. The family is encouraging everyone who can to get vaccinated.
