It’s a BIG weekend with lots to do to celebrate Black Music Month, summer and more!
Chicago Blues Fest, the largest free blues festival in the world continues through tomorrow in Millennium Park. This year’s lineup includes Mud Morganfield, son of legendary bluesman Muddy Waters and a new feature – a blues-inspired smokehouse called Wally's BBQ Pit.
Puerto Rican Fest is going strong, starting at noon in Humboldt Park today and tomorrow and the 45th Annual Puerto Rican People’s Parade steps off today along Division Street.
Comedian Damon Williams hosts Chi Soul Fest this weekend at Navy Pier Beer Garden at Polk Brothers Park. Farley “Jackmaster” Funk and Isaiah Sharkey are on the lineup for this free festival.
Chicago's own comedian Godfrey is back home this weekend! He’s performing at The Improv in Schaumburg with two shows tonight and one show tomorrow.
And the award-winning musical and Broadway Classic “West Side Story” is at the Lyric Opera House for a couple more weeks, through June 25th.
Whatever you choose, have fun and don’t let me EVER hear you say you don’t have anything to do!
