Congratulations to 3rd District Cook Country Commissioner and president of the Nyhan Law Firm President Bill Lowry on the big honor he got this week… he’s the 2023 President Joseph R. Biden Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, the highest award in the country for volunteers who’ve put in over 4000 hours of service through their lives and had a major impact on their community and around the world.
The Southland Black Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented Bill with the award at a celebration Thursday at Robbins Community Center.
In addition to all the pro bono legal work he’s done in his 30 year legal career, Bill has focused on curbing youth violence in our city as a member of Bright Star Community Outreach, Get In Chicago Advisory Network, and the founder of The It’s Time Organization.
