Community Connect is here to hook you up and help you out with resources you can use… road safety is important all the time, but winter brings its own challenges and the city and county have services to keep you safe.
With winter’s longer hours in darkness, working car lights are really important. This Thursday (January 25th), the Cook County Sheriff's Office and the Village of Phoenix will offer free repairs on car lights, including taillights, headlights and license plate lights, to Cook County residents at Albert Kirklin Public Works, 151st 3rd Avenue in Phoenix from 9am to noon. See the info on the flyer below... pre-registration is required by email at this address or online at this link.
And if you’ve seen any potholes, street lights out, illegal waste or garbage dumping, or any other City services, remember that you can always submit a service request by calling 311, filing one online at 311.chicago.gov or on the CHI311 Mobile App.
Remember, our community moves forward in the best way possible when we all get the help we need and give the help we can!
