Community Connect is ready to hook you up and help you out with resources you can use to get healthy as your young people head back to school!
Tomorrow, Grace Central Church (10216 Kitchener Street, Westchester) hosts its Family and Friends Day with a FREE Health Fair and Back to School Event starting at noon, right after morning worship.
Pastor Darius Brooks & First Lady Deborah Brooks and the First Ladies’ Health Initiative have partnered with several area churches to provide free blood pressure, glucose and diabetes screenings, flu vaccines, mental health resources and other health checks. Everyone who gets health screenings will also receive a free gift while supplies last! Find information on all the churches participating the flyer below.
Plus there will be FREE school supplies and free haircuts for school-aged boys on a first come, first served basis. You can register on site but if you pre-register for your screenings, you’ll be entered to win free tickets to a Chicago Sky game day.
