Here’s what’s happening this weekend:
Taste of Chicago runs in Grant Park through tomorrow with over 40 vendors and food trucks plus concerts at Petrillo Band Shell and entertainment, including Chicago SummerDance. And no more food tickets… vendors are accepting credit cards on site.
Universoul Circus is back at Washington Park now through October 14th with world class acts from around the globe… celebrating 30 years of excellence in entertainment!
Talib Kweli is at City Winery Chicago tonight for 2 shows at 6pm and 9:30pm…
And tickets are on sale now for comedian Finesse Mitchell’s show at City Winery featuring Calvin Evans & Gwen LaRocka Wednesday, September 18th.
House Head Fest 2024 is from noon-10 pm today at the Country Club Hills Amphitheater… it’s a full day of fun, food and family fun. Bring your lawn chairs, and pop up tents, vendors will be on site but no outside food or grills are allowed. Kids 12 and under are free along with free parking.
Printers Row Lit Fest is today and tomorrow along South Dearborn, from Ida B. Wells to Polk… it’s the largest free outdoor literary showcase in the Midwest, showcasing Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, poets and Chicago’s finest writers with selections from over 100 booksellers.
The 11th Annual Lakeview Taco Fest is today and tomorrow along the Southport Corridor with more than 10 restaurants, plus Mexican wrestling shows, performances from local bands and kid-friendly activities!

Friday, September 13th, the Joffrey Ballet performs to the music of Ramsey Lewis and more at the Pavilion at Ravinia.
