Today, February 26th is Ash Wednesday and is the start of holy season.
People around the world will be receiving ashes in the form of a cross on their foreheads today. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the lent season where for six weeks Christians reflect on their lives and the love of God, along with pray and fast leading up to Easter Sunday.
Easter is April 12th this year.
