Hours after her death the tributes to Cicely Tyson continue to pour in. That just shows you the depth of impact that she had not only on the entertainment industry but just to people in general.
Not only was Ms. Tyson well known for her acting abilities, she also was a fierce fashionista with a style that was unmatched on every red carpet she walked, and I'm sure there were many. Having been in the business for more more than seven decades, Ms. Tyson was awarded several recognitions including an Emmy and Tony award.
She will truly be missed and remembered as a pioneer that paved the way for many black actors and just for black people in general. She loved her craft so much, she worked until the very end. Rest peacefully, madam.
