Illinois native and actress Jane Lynch is the face of a new tourism campaign for the state of Illinois. The campaign was directed by Lynch, who is from Evergreen Park on the South Side, and she will star in the commercials that will run in eight states, targeting travel in the Midwest. The campaign is called “Middle of Everything,” and will put the spotlight on attractions in downtown Chicago and across the state.
