Deadline Approaches For Chicago Financial Assistance Pilot

Chicago's Mayor Lori Lightfoot has implemented a program that can help out a lot of families. It's called The Chicago Resilient Communities Pilot, offering 5,000 Chicagoans a chance to receive $500 per month for twelve months. There are no strings attached and those selected can spend the money however they wish, with hopes of course it being spent on needs and not necessarily wants.

But hurry up and apply now because the application process will close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 13. The Mayor believes that people living with poverty simply don't have enough money to make ends meet, and getting some assistance can change situations and empower people to do their best at meeting their financial needs and goals.
