We all know with the employment shift because of the pandemic a lot of things have changed when it comes to finding good workers. But I never thought being a babysitter could be so lucrative -- especially for a teenager!
According to the Wall Street Journal, teens are getting paid up to $30 an hour! The reason is because there is a shortage of babysitters just like there is a shortage of workers in other industries too. Many of the teens are being treated like VIPs, with parents telling them they can 'order anything they want for dinner' and some are even receiving gifts as an incentive to keep them.
Wow, maybe I can sit for somebody on the weekends because that's some good money right there!
