Rihanna did not get paid for her Super Bowl halftime performance, but she did get paid. She reportedly earned more than $350-thousand dollars in royalties because of the increase in streaming following her performance. After the game the streaming skyrocketed by 331 percent and the spike was bigger than all of the artists who performed at last year's halftime show!
And in case you're wondering, show headliners for the Super Bowl do not get paid and apparently they don't have to because she probably made more with the streaming piece than she would have for those 13 minutes on stage.
