WalMart Stores In Chicago Neighborhoods To Close This Weekend

A handful of WalMart stores will be leaving four Chicago neighborhoods this weekend. That's the not so good news. The good news is employees can transfer to other WalMart or Sam's Club locations and the pharmacies will remain open for about another month or so.

WalMart officials say the stores are not profitable, losing tens of millions of dollars each year and that's why they have to close.

The store locations include:

Chatham at 84th & Stewart, Kenwood at 47th & Cottage Grove, Little Village, 25th & Cermak and the Lakeview location in the 2800 block of Broadway on the North Side.
