An elderly man who shot a black teen when he rang the doorbell at the man's home has been charged with two felonies. Ralph Yarl, who is 16, mistakenly went to the wrong home looking for his siblings when he was shot by the 84-year-old man not once but twice.
Officials are saying there a racial component to the shooting, but they are not giving any more details at this time.
Racism is ugly, it's sick it's wrong -- period. There are just way too many blatant incidents of racism that happen daily, some getting more attention than others. But please understand nothing good will ever come out of it. People, start changing your mindsets and your way of thinking or nothing will ever change.
It's a blessing Ralph is alive.
