Soulistically Red

World AIDS Day takes place on the 1st December each year. Its an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day.

Here in the Chicago land area, one particular institution stands out amongst many to assist in the advancement of research, and healthcare for those afflicted with HIV and AIDS.  Howard Brown Health Centers exists to eliminate the disparities in healthcare experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people through research, education and the provision of services that promote health and wellness.

This year, Soulistic360 will host its first ever benefit concert on World AIDS Day, and proceeds will assist the Howard Brown Health Centers.  The concert, Soulistically RED, is a result of an amazing compilation of retakes, remixes, and new soul favorites.  The album brings together Chicagos own soulful voices; and pays homage to R & Bs greats.
