Many Tributes Honoring Kobe Bryant In Weeks Ahead

The thought that Kobe Bryant and eight other lives were lost this week really stings and is still hard for me to process. I know death is inevitable, but there are just some that you don't expect to happen so soon. I would never question why, but trying to understand it has been difficult.

Kobe's legacy is bigger than life and he will be honored and remembered for weeks to come. Tonight's Lakers game will be very emotional for all in attendance and each person attending will receive a Kobe jersey. When we even say the word "Lakers" Kobe Bryant is top of mind. He was great on the court. He was a great father, husband and friend to many. What a big loss.

I'm pretty sure there will be more tributes for him at this weekend's Super Bowl and in a couple of weeks at the NBA's All-Star weekend in Chicago. The world will never forget Kobe and his contributions to basketball. And we should also honor and pay respect to the others who died and pray for comfort for their families.
