It's no secret that I love snow, I just think it's pretty and it makes the landscape look peaceful. Perhaps because I was born in December maybe that has something to do with it too.
But I'm eager to see if our weather casters are going to be on point with this big snow storm expected to hit Chicago later today. There have been other reports in the past where we got all hyped up for a big storm, but there was just a dusting of the white stuff.
So let's wait and see if we will really get up to 8 inches like they are predicting. But on a serious note if it does snow like they are saying please be very careful because high winds are expected as well. Also be very careful shoveling heavy snow and be cautious about slipping and falling. Check on your elderly family members and neighbors too.
