First Lady Jill Biden will visit Illinois for the first time today since she has become the first lady. She will join Gov. Pritzker and other officials on a tour of Sauk Village Community College in Dixon, about 100 miles west of downtown Chicago.
The first lady is working on a plan to make community college free for students. That is a great idea and I hope the plan works because education is of the utmost importance and it should be free. Mrs. Biden is a champion of community colleges as she currently is a professor who teaches a writing course at a community college in Virginia.
