Today is Earth Day, an event that is recognized globally pledging support for environmental protection. The theme this year is "Restore Our Earth, focusing on natural processes, emerging green technologies and innovative ways to restore the world's ecosystems.
There are so many changes taking place with global warming, animals being being disoriented and forced out of their natural habitats due to developing infrastructure and commercial building, and pollution and litter throughout our waterways. We have to do everything we can to protect mother earth -- after all, this is our home.
