Willie Wilson’s giving away more gas this morning… the millionaire businessman, philanthropist and now mayoral candidate (again) is filling up Chicago area tanks with another $1 million dollars’ worth of gas.
This is Wilson’s 3rd gas giveaway and it starts at 7am this morning at 25 gas stations in the city and suburbs. Organizers asked people not to line up overnight… if they listened, you might still be able to get in on that this morning.
At prior giveaways, there was a limit of $50 of gas per vehicle… this time, Wilson asked the governor and mayor to waive taxes for the promotion. Mayor Lightfoot has her own giveaway going with CTA passes and gas cards.
