Funeral services were held Monday for veteran Chicago Fire Department Diver Juan Bucio.
The father of two died on Memorial Day while trying to rescue an overboard boater in the South Branch of the Chicago River near Ashland Ave.
His casket arrived atop Fire Engine No. 13 outside the chapel at St. Rita High School on the South Side around noon on Monday.
Rev. Gary Graf told Bucio's young sons that their father lived his life in service and was willing to risk his life for others.
