There is a homeless encampment set up on Lower Wacker Drive and the deadline is set for today for them to move. It's called "The Triangle," located at Wabash and Lower Wacker, and the City of Chicago has constructed iron fences around the area, forcing the homeless out. Where will they go next? Will they just move to another area of Lower Wacker Drive or will the city consider building tiny homes so people will at least have a place to lay down and be sheltered? Only time will tell.
Homelessness has been a problem for so many years and with mental health facilities closing and easy access to drugs, there seems to be more and more homeless than ever. There must be a way for all to have a roof over their head.
