You've heard the plea a thousand times and former First Lady Michelle Obama is going to make sure you hear it again. VOTE! Mrs. Obama is joining other celebs in a launch of a major voter registration push. Actor Tom Hanks and 'Hamilton' star Lin-Manuel Miranda are just some of the celebs who will join Mrs. Obama in encouraging the nation to make sure they head to the polls to vote.
The new voter registration non profit is called When We All Vote and also includes basketball star Chris Paul and pop star Janelle Monae and others. Mrs. Obama stressed the importance of voting during all elections, and not just that of the president every four years. "The leaders we elect to these offices help determine just about every aspect of our lives and our democracy. So the future of our families, our communities and our country belongs to those of us who show up, cast our votes, and make our voices heard," she said.
