Earlier this week I reported that Beyonce' made history with hiring the first black photographer to shoot a cover for Vogue magazine, and famed Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour gave Queen B free reign over the creative direction for the September issue, in which she will also be on the cover. Well days later I find out that our other favorite pop star, Rihanna, has also made Vogue history being the first black woman to grace the cover of British Vogue. These girls are doing it!
Vogue has been around since 1892 and it's really a shame that things are just now beginning to change with the magazine as it relates to race, but hey at least things are changing right?
Can't wait to get my hands on both copies.
