A new art installation at Chicago's Navy Pier can take you to the beach in the middle of winter. Beginning Jan. 19 you can check out the exhibit, all 18,000 square feet of it, which simulates a real beach - warm weather and all!
It will also feature deck chairs, lifeguard stations, umbrellas, and inflatables that will make you think you are literally at the beach. You can even "swim" through thousands of plastic spheres, allowing you to imagine you are in a lake or ocean.
The exhibit is free and open to the public and will be open through Feb. 3.
