Chicago White Sox Home Opener Has Been Moved To Friday

So listen up Chicago White Sox fans. The home opener which was scheduled for Thursday will be moved to this Friday, April 5. Why? Because rain is in the forecast for the Chi and the bosses over in the baseball office don't want you to get all wet and stuff.

But seriously, if you have a ticket for tomorrow's game don't worry, it's all good. All tickets from Thursday are good for the new Opening Day on Friday. The game will start at 1:10 p.m. and part of the home opener activities will include Harold Baines throwing out the first pitch. Of course the legendary outfielder was recently inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, so what an honor it will be for fans to see him kick the game off.

Cheers to a great season, Chicago White Sox!
