Please don't tell me the world is moving toward no communication at all! Now people are actually texting each other when they live under the same roof? Yes! Unless you are elderly and cannot move about, or you have a reason for not being able to communicate due to health issues or a disability, I don't see why this would be the way to communicate.
If I'm sitting on the couch and a relative or friend is in an adjacent room and I need to talk to them, I will yell our their name and they will come to me or I will go to them. I am not going to sit there and send them a text, no.
This actually may be the way that communicating with each other will be in the near future. When you think about it, that is a bit scary because it tells me we will solely rely on technology to communicate with one another. I'm not sure if I'm on board with this. It's bad enough my handwriting has become more difficult to read because I barely write anything anymore and I'm not used to picking up a pen to write.
Well I guess there is a good part to this story: I guess if I don't want to be bothered with anybody and we're in the same house, I'll just send them a text!
