Mariah Carey has one of the most illustrious careers in music history and tonight she will receive recognition for some of her achievements. She will be awarded the Icon Award at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards and she will also perform a medley of her hits.
The Billboard Music Awards will be hosted by Kelly Clarkson and there will be performances by Ciara, Ariana Grande, Khalid, Madonna, Paula Abdul and the South Korean Pop Group BTS -- get ready for screaming kids when they hit the stage. And our Chicago home girl Jennifer Hudson will be one of the presenters. This looks to be a very exciting, high-energy award show featuring some of your favorite artists.
