Finally Chicago, summer is here! And with perfect timing, the sun is out and shining on this beautiful day. It seems like summer was never going to arrive, but today is the first day of summer and it's also the longest day of the year.
I don't know about you, but I was getting so tired of the fog, rain and cloudy days. I really need sun in my life because it just puts you in a much better mood and literally brings life to the day.
Summer technically comes right before noon and at that moment the sun's rays will reach as far north as possible, and as a result the sun will be at it's highest and longest path throughout the sky giving us a longer day and shorter night.
Ahhh, summer is finally here, but as you know living in Chicago just because the calendar says it, doesn't mean that's the season we're going to get. But as long as there is sun, I don't care what the rest of the weather is like.
