The Illinois State Fair begins today in Springfield. Thousands of Illinois residents from near and far will travel to Springfield for the 11-day festival.
More than 105 fairs and expositions from across the state will be represented at the fair. In addition to great food, attractions, amusement park rides, games and animals, there will be plenty of entertainment with a featured artist each day. Snoop Dogg performs on Friday, Aug. 16.
