The 41st Annual Chicago Jazz Fest swings into town this weekend. It starts Thursday in Millennium Park and the Chicago Cultural Center and Friday through Sunday the music plays at Millennium Park.
Bassist Christian McBride, Pianist Eddie Palmieri, vocalists Cecile McLorin Salvant, Freddy Cole and Ben Sidran are just some of the heavy hitters that will be performing. Unlike most jazz festivals across the country, the Chicago Jazz Fest is FREE and open to all ages. This is a perfect compliment to the Labor Day holiday weekend.
