The Action of A Child Can Teach Us All A Lesson

By now we have all seen the photo of a child consoling his classmate on the first day of school. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and this one is worth even more.

The boy on the right saw that his autistic classmate was having issues adjusting on the first day of school so he comforted him by holding his hand and telling him everything would be okay. This photo symbolizes a lot of things, but it when I look at it I see a child being compassionate about another child who has special needs. No discrimination. And I also see a little black boy showing love to a little white boy. No racism.

Adults should really look at themselves and learn lessons from the innocence of children. Sometimes I feel like the roles are reversed with all of the immaturity and so on and so forth going on in our world today. A lot of people really need to grow up and do right by each other and learn how to care for, and look out for one another.
