Supreme Court Justice Ruth Ginsburg In Chicago To Receive Award

Just last month she received radiation treatment for a cancerous tumor on her pancreas. And now U.S. Supreme Court Assoc. Justice Ruth Ginsburg on Monday visits Chi-Town to receive an award from the University of Chicago. The 86-year-old will also be a guest speaker.

Her honor Ginsburg will receive the Harris Dean's Award, which honors an exceptional leader for their lifetime contributions to public policy. Ginsburg is the oldest justice on the bench and was appointed to the Supreme Court by then President Bill Clinton in 1993.

The event is free and open to the public, but the required tickets are sold out.
